African Americans Ain't Africans
Why the book??
The main reason for my writing the book was and is to help reconnect the so called African American psychologically as well as spiritually to our ancestral homeland, America. During the past one hundred years the ethnic identity of our indigenous collective has been altered three or four times. The purpose of the renaming along with other social formulas is to remove any connection the modern African American has with the Indigenous American. When comparing all the nations claiming to have stake in America to description of the indigenous people (via 1828 Webster Dictionary) The image is clearly that of the African American we see today.
Greetings, Family. I am Celestine, a manufacturer, Designer and Buyer specializing in creating Jewelry and beauty products. As a Brooklyn artesan my Gems are eclectic, classic and collectable. Over the years, my clients consisted of brides, Artist, Performers and women in the service industry who appreciated a distinct product that enhanced how they feel about themselves. I began making jewelry it as a hobby and later selling in churches, local markets and shows! As time went by, I attracted salons and specialty boutiques. I have been featured in publications such as Braids and Beauty, Essence and Taji Magazine as well as Butterwick patterns. Today, I am featured on many social media sites under “The Celestine Collection.” So, why not be a part of this unique collection and experience the conversations they’ll bring for years to come...
